We spoke with make-up artist Carolina Dali whose clients include Ellie Goulding and Gemma Chan, to discover her tips for “lit from within” wedding day skin. 

First, cleanse

“I start off by cleansing the skin with la lune de velours cleanser using the la lune sur l’eau sponge in a circular motion. Rinsing with cold water helps to calm the skin and tighten the pores.” 

Then, moisturise

Next, Carolina says, “follow up with my favourite, la potion infinie face cream applied to the face and neck. This moisturiser is ideal for make-up application, because it hydrates the skin, but it’s not oily, so make-up glides on beautifully. Finally, enhance your glow with an oil 

“For an added glow (or for those that desire extra moisturisation), I recommend adding a couple of drops of l’etoile infinie face oil between your index and middle finger and tapping it into the cheekbones, centre of the nose, centre of the chin, and brow bone for that natural lit-from-within glow. Be sure to apply a few drops to your décolletage and shoulders too if your dress is strapless.”
